Access Statement for Manor View Apartment, Windsor
Introduction
Manor View is a two-bedroomed second floor apartment with no
lift.
Within the apartment everything is on one level.
The doors are of standard width.
There is a no pets and no smoking policy.
Within the apartment doors, doorframes and skirting boards are
painted white.
Pre-Arrival
Bookings can be made by telephone or email.
Information can be supplied in large print or audio format
on request.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
There is a car park available although at busy times there
may not be spaces available and cars would have to be parked in
the road outside.
There is a speed bump at the entrance to the car park.
Rear access is possible to cars parked in car park.
From the car park there is a 45m stepping stone path
through the lawn to the entrance of the apartment block.
This is lit at night but is dark in gaps between the PIR
activated lights.
There are 2 shallow steps at the entrance to the building.
Assistance with light luggage can normally be provided on
arrival.
Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area
There are double doors to the main entrance of the
building.
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc
There are 28 stairs up to the apartment.
The stairs have a slight contrast to their edges.
There is good natural lighting and uniform lighting at
night. Light switches are on time delay switches.
There is black skirting material around the base of the
walls providing good contrast.

Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc
The lounge is carpeted.
The TV has teletext and a remote control.
There is an overhead light and 2 lamps.

Paths through the garden are mostly stepping stones
through the lawn.
There are 2 benches in the garden.
Outside lighting is of the PIR spotlight type. There may
be dark points in between lights.

Bedrooms are carpeted.
Entrances are level.

Shower is over the bath and is thermostatically
