It is located in a quiet residential area only 1.5 miles from the heart of Royal Windsor. Both Legoland and Windsor Castle are within 2 miles. London is easily accessible by train, bus or car. The close proximity of the commercial centres of Slough, Maidenhead, Bracknell and Reading also make it an ideal location for the business traveller. For the racegoer Windsor racecourse is just half a mile and Ascot 6.5 miles.

The property is furnished and equipped to Visit England's 3 Star standard.

The accommodation consists of:

Living room with French windows leading to a balcony overlooking the manor house and its gardens, double bedroom with Victorian style bedstead and TV (for video/DVD playback only), pretty twin bedroom overlooking mature trees (where you can watch squirrels playing) and playing fields at the rear of the property, bathroom with bath, electric shower, washbasin and W.C. and a well equipped kitchen/diner.

Facilities include gas central heating, 24" widescreen colour television with "Freeview"digital reception, video, DVD player, iPod/MP3 players, hairdryer, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, toaster, microwave, bed linen, towels, telephone (chargeable), wi-fi broadband, electric shower, car park, travel cot (cot linen can be provided for overseas visitors only), high chair, children's plates and cutlery and baby bath.

Things to do

There is something for everyone to be found within easy reach of Windsor from theme parks such as Legoland, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures to historical sights which include Eton, several National Trust properties, Runnymede and, of course, Windsor Castle. For the garden enthusiast Savill and Valley Gardens in Windsor Great Park are nearby while Kew and Wisley are within easy reach. Other activities in the area include walking, open-top bus tours, boat rides and boat hire, great shopping and eating in Windsor and horse-riding in Windsor Great Park. The local leisure centre (1 mile) has a full range of sporting facilities including a swimming pool and an indoor children's play area. Slightly further afield, Windsor's excellent road and rail links make it an ideal location for exploring the South of England e.g. London is easily accessible by train, bus or car in less than 1 hour and Stonehenge is about 1.5 hours by car.

More locally, a public playground, riverside walks, a pub/restaurant and local shop are to be found within a few hundred metres and a supermarket within 3/4 of a mile.
